Our Favorite Garage Builds of 2023
As we bid farewell to another year, it’s only fitting to highlight some of the standout garage projects that made 2023 truly remarkable. Amidst so many exceptional new builds and renovations this year, these top 5 projects captured our attention, and hopefully yours too!
1. Subtle but Stunning!
Not every garage build needs to be an extravagant reimagining of what was there before. Sometimes, some of the most eye-catching and functional garages are based on the original design from the previous structure…with some added flare of course! This garage kept a similar shape and size but upgraded its style, swapping out the siding and the door for a more dramatic, pleasing-to-the-eye appearance, and we love it!
2. New Beginnings
We love it when we get to work with homeowners who do not have any existing garage structures. The ideas, the vision, the needs – everything is so exciting and NEW! This homeowner had a gravel driveway with no overhang or garage. Our team helped match the siding to the house and find a garage door that fit their style while giving the garage a sophisticated, modern appeal. The new opportunities this garage will provide for this family in terms of functionality, fun, and free space are endless!
3. All About That Beige
This garage project created a whole new look for this property. We transformed a 2-car, white hip-style roof garage into a 2-car, beige gable-style garage, giving the homeowner so much more headspace for storage and elevating the curb appeal of the entire property. This garage is simple but fresh and clean, providing optimal functionality for this family.
4. Modern Panels with Windows – Yes, Please!
We love when a project provides us with the opportunity to cater to the homeowner’s personal aesthetic and color palette. In this case, we used a modern panel door and a non-traditional (but beautiful!) olive green siding, resulting in a stunning and unique build!
5. A Full Transformation
Sometimes, a new garage project is a want and sometimes, it’s a need. This garage was on its last legs until J.D. Griffiths came to the rescue! What once was a worn-out structure is now a clean, beautiful garage that’s double the size! Our team feels its best when we can make something look good AND function better for the families we serve.
