Our Favorite Garage Builds of 2022
Another year is closing and we want to take this opportunity to share some of our favorite garage projects of 2022! While we had so many amazing new builds and renovations throughout the 2022 season, these top 5 stuck out to us. Which is your favorite?
1. A True Transformation
Originally serving as more of a shed than a garage, this family decided it was time to invest in a dream garage that truly fit their needs and style. From an outdated, single-car garage to a modern and stylized, two-car, fully functional garage with a fresh concrete driveway, this upgrade is pleasing to the eyes and the property value!
2. Clean-Cut Color
One appeal to a new garage build or renovation project is the opportunity to reimagine the aesthetic. In this case, not only did the owner expand their garage footprint to include a two-car garage space, but they also made a modern, clean-cut decision to add colored siding to their new garage. As you can see, there is so much more warmth, charm, and appeal to the new garage design! We love when customers incorporate sophisticated colors and styles.
3. A Simple, Flawless Upgrade
Not all garage projects are grand and bold. But ones like this are often some of our favorites because of how simple and flawless an upgrade to your garage can be. From the concrete to the new garage door, and the addition of a front access door and light, this new garage checks all the boxes!
4. Not Just a Garage Anymore
When a garage exceeds your initial vision, that’s when the true payoff of your investment begins. We expanded the footprint of the new garage to include additional space in the back while also being able to accommodate up to two cars towards the front of the garage. With a rear access service and garage door, added windows, interior walls, and lighting, this project has been transformed to be so much more than just a garage for this family.
5. Accessibility for the Win!
Having a yard can be a lot of fun but it also comes with regular upkeep. This homeowner had accessibility in mind when they approached J.D. Griffiths with the idea. This garage project not only expanded the garage footprint from a one to a two-car garage, but it also included a rear access single garage door that flows right into the backyard. This is perfect for accessing lawn, grilling, or recreation equipment at the drop of a hat. Accessibility is a winning design choice in our book!
